Yes. Breakage or damage to windows, fixed mirrors or glass walls is usually insured within your policy. Please send us clear photos of the damage and surroundings so we can open the file correctly.
Does the coverage also apply to shower walls or balcony panels?
Only the glass itself is insured. Metal profiles, hinges or fasteners are not covered under glass breakage coverage.
Should I wait for an expert before I recover?
If in doubt about the cause or extent, it is best to wait for the agreement. Small fractures can already be repaired provided you have clear photos and a detailed invoice.
What should I provide for smooth claims handling?
Photos of the damage, any purchase receipts or quotes, the estimated damage amount and the invoice for the repair.
Can I choose between my own repairer and a Zurich repairer?
Yes. You can choose your own company or use a repairer through Zurich. You arrange appointments with Zurich repairers directly by calling 933 660 777.

Yes, if the breakage is sudden and unforeseen. Wear and tear or aging is not covered.
